How We Serve
How We Serve
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come. Luke 4:18-19
Jesus announced his mission in Luke 4, and we continue his ministry today.
Children's MinistryWe offer Sunday School Classes for kids of all ages. We also have fun spaces for toddlers and infants. Each summer we host a Vacation Bible School program as well. Raising the next generation in the faith is a high priority here at Bell Chapel.
The Good SamaritansThe Good Samaritans serve much like the Samaritan mentioned by Jesus in the parable found in Luke 10. They respond to the needs of others with compassion and love. Our monthly food distribution and clothing drive are just a few of the ways that the Good Samaritans minister to the needs of our community.
United Methodist MenThe United Methodist Men do a lot to connect our church to our surrounding community. They also provide many opportunities for the church to connect with one another, through various dinners, concerts, and studies.
Funeral Meals MinistryDuring one of life's most challenging times, our funeral meal ministry team steps in to lift a burden. They provide a hot meal for families who are grieving following funeral services. They show us how to be servants of Our Lord by loving others so well.
